Drinking Water:
Although British water is safe to drink from taps connected directly to a mains water supply, we have provided additional drinking water filters which provide a more pleasant tasting water. The Bristan Empura filters fitted claim to “Protect against chlorine, herbicides, pesticides and industrial chemicals and remove bad tastes and odours from domestic water supplies.”
For best performance always run water “until chill to the touch”. Lift the tap lever for continuous water flow.
We have noticed an improvement in the taste of cold and hot drinks and the elimination of scum on tea.
The water filter and cold water tap in the kitchen are both connected to the un-softened incoming water supply.
